Biography
Cynthia M. Hatchett is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Hatchett Law Firm, PLLC. Her practice focuses on Probate, Trusts, Guardianship, Heirships, Dependent Administrations, Estate Planning, and related mediation and litigation. She counsels individuals, families, and fiduciaries through some of life’s most significant legal transitions, believing that clarity, compassion, and thoughtful advocacy are just as important as technical legal excellence. Her work regularly involves advising executors, trustees, guardians, and beneficiaries in matters ranging from estate administration to contested probate, guardianship, and fiduciary disputes.
Recognized as a trusted authority in Texas probate and fiduciary law, Cynthia brings more than three decades of legal experience to every client matter. Before returning to private practice, she served as a Vice President in JPMorgan’s Private Wealth & Trust Department, where she advised families on complex wealth transfer, trust administration, and fiduciary matters. That experience continues to shape her practical, strategic approach to helping clients protect family legacies, resolve disputes, and make sound legal decisions during challenging times.
A lifelong reader, devoted wife to Michael, and proud mother of three (spoiled) daughters, Cynthia is deeply rooted in both her family and her faith. She believes the practice of law is a calling and that The Hatchett Law Firm, PLLC. exists for the glory of God. Guided by the conviction that love is best demonstrated through service, she leads her team with integrity. Clients of the firm can trust the firm’s commitment to providing sound legal counsel with steadiness, compassion, and confidence.
